# Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Federal AI Intelligence. This Refund
Policy explains when we refund and when we don't. It is part of our
Terms of Service.

## The short version

- **Monthly plan, first payment, within 14 days:** full refund, no
  questions asked.
- **Monthly plan, any renewal:** no refund, but cancel anytime and
  keep access until the end of the period.
- **Annual plan, mid-term:** no refund.
- **Downgrade mid-term:** pro-rata credit on your next invoice.
- **Billing mistake (double charge, wrong plan, proration error):**
  full refund or credit for the incorrect amount.

## Monthly plans ($149/month)

- On your **first monthly charge**, you may request a full refund
  within **14 days** of the charge by emailing
  support@REPLACE_DOMAIN. We process it within 5 business days.
- On **renewal charges**, we do not refund. You are free to cancel at
  any time and your access continues through the end of the current
  billing period. After that, your account reverts to the demo tier
  and you are not charged again.

## Annual plans ($1,500/year)

- No refunds mid-term. You signed up for a year at a discount to the
  monthly rate; reversing partway through would defeat the discount.
- You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the
  12-month period.
- If you need special consideration (you signed up but your agency or
  company situation changed in the first week, etc.), email
  support@REPLACE_DOMAIN. We're human and we listen, but mid-term
  refunds on annual plans are not a policy.

## Downgrades

- If you downgrade from annual to monthly, the switch takes effect at
  the end of your current annual term. No credit is issued mid-term
  for the difference.
- If you downgrade from paid to demo, your access reverts at the end
  of your current period. No pro-rata refund.

## Billing errors

If we bill you the wrong amount, double-charge you, or fail to apply a
promotion you qualified for, we will refund or credit the incorrect
amount in full. Email support@REPLACE_DOMAIN and we'll reconcile the
account within 5 business days.

## How refunds are processed

Stripe refunds to the original payment method. It usually takes 5–10
business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

For billing errors or special cases, we may issue a credit against
your next invoice instead of a cash refund, with your agreement.

back within 3 business days, email again — we aren't a big team and
things occasionally get lost. We'd rather hear from you twice than
miss you once.
